Victor Cerna, President and founder of VCerna Technologies was born in Lima, Peru where he received his degree in Electronic Engineering from Ricardo Palma University. In his native country, he worked as a telecommunications and automated control systems specialist, providing solutions with companies including Lucent Technologies, Avaya, and Panametrics, among others.

He came to Southwest Florida in 2003 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology from Hodges University. Here in Florida, Victor held administrative and management positions with Naples Lumber, Mastec and Comcast before launching his own business.
Victor has always believed in giving back to his community. His support of the Hispanic community was recognized in 2011 with the Hodges University Promise Award, as well as the Leadership Award. In 2017, he received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was recognized by Florida State University School of Medicine for his contribution in Immokalee to the Salud América program. He is a member of Board of Directors for Literacy Volunteers of Collier County, a member of the Fort Myers Mayor’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, and Ambassador for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Florida.

Milagrito Cerna is Vice President of VCerna Technologies and was born in Iquitos – Peru. She has a degree in Accounting from Ricardo Palma University of Peru with a specialization in Auditing.

She is married to Victor Cerna for 18 years and they have three girls with whom she shares her passion for nature, martial arts and reading.

Her vast professional experience includes working as process auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers, consultant in the implementation and training of different accounting software and auditing in different companies in the mining area in Perú.
